Taking A (Short I Hope) Break

I decided I should let you know why my blogging has become erratic.

For ten days or so, I’ve been plagued with on and off severe headaches and continuous double vision. I spent a couple of days in the hospital and have undergone a battery of tests, more scheduled next week.

It’s been a bit frustrating because I miss doing the daily blog posts, and getting to the bottom of the problems has been elusive. However, until I can see straight, I need to suspend my blogging. I certainly hope it will be a short break.

Your thoughts and prayers will be appreciated.

Meanwhile, I’m developing all kinds of blog posts in my head, although since it appears that my medical issues have something to do with my head, the imaginary posts may not be worth anything when the time comes.

Blessings to all of you.

P.S. To my Facebook friends, I would appreciate your not putting anything on Facebook about this. Let’s just keep it between blog buddies for now. Thank you.

Connie, thanks so much. I have gone to your book more than once since my medical issues started. As I’ve told you before, it is a source of inspiration. Thanks for your comment about my book. Thanks most of all for your prayers. Blessings to you, John

Have been wanting to tell you how much I have enjoyed your book!! Your scripture choices are wonderful and refresh the reader with areas we probably rarely read.

Was hoping you were taking a fun vacation ! You and Mufti are in my prayers. Sorry that you have a rock in the road.

    In His hands,

Well, this is a vacation of sorts, I guess — just not a fun one yet. Thanks for your prayers. And thanks for your comments about the book. Best to your and Gordon.

Johnny, I am so sorry to hear you are having health problems. You will definitely be in my prayers and thoughts. Praying for answers and that it will not be anything serious. Praying for the doctors that they will do all that is needed to find your problem and then to fix it. May God give you comfort and peace and ease of pain as you go through the process. Love and prayers for you and your family.

Have missed you here….so sorry to hear that you aren’t feeling well. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon. Of course I will respect your wish not to say anything at Workspace. Prayers and thoughts that you will be feeling better soon.

      Mary Lisa,
Thanks for the note. I figure you’re in the process of taking over my office, so I’m sure all is well. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear about your medical problem. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I do enjoy reading your blogs; however, it is more important for you to recover fully. I really hope the diagnosis is nothing serious and you are better soon.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, Bill. They seem to have ruled out the big, bad stuff. Just can’t find out what’s calling the problem — yet. Thanks again. John
